Wraps served in printed packaging

What are custom wrap boxes?

A wrap box is a box or sleeve designed to hold a rolled wrap, from a chicken wrap or burrito to a kebab wrap or falafel wrap. Its job is to stop the wrap unrolling, keep the filling inside, hold in heat and make it easy to eat straight from the pack.

Wraps behave differently to burgers. They're long, they can leak from the ends, and they often lose their shape if they lie loose in a box that's too big. A well sized wrap box holds the wrap snugly, often at an angle or upright, so it arrives looking the way it left your kitchen.

We make wrap boxes around your wraps. Tell us how long and thick they are, whether they're cut in half, and how they're sold, and we'll recommend a size and structure. You then test a printed sample with your own food before we produce.

Who uses printed wrap boxes?

Kebab shops, grill houses, chicken shops, Mexican and burrito takeaways, falafel and street food businesses, and cafés that sell hot wraps. They're especially useful for businesses with a large delivery trade, where a loose foil-wrapped wrap can arrive squashed.

What wrap boxes are suitable for

What can be customised

You don't need to choose every detail. Tell us what you need and we'll recommend the right specification.
  • Size

Choose a standard size or have a box made around the length and thickness of your wrap, whole or cut in half.

  • Printing and design

Your logo and brand colours on the outside of the box. No artwork? We'll design it with you at no extra cost.

  • Structure

Closed boxes, open-ended sleeves or boxes that hold halves upright. We'll suggest what keeps your wrap neat and easy to eat.

  • Strength and grease resistance

Saucy, oily fillings need a board that stays firm and won't show grease. We'll match the board to what's inside.

  • Finish

Natural kraft or white board, depending on how you want your brand to look.

Choices

Wrap box options, explained

  • Enclosed wrap box

Fully closes around the wrap. Best for delivery and anything that needs to stay hot and protected.

Usually a folding boxboard with a grease-resistant layer, glued or folded into shape.

  • Open sleeve or tray

Holds the wrap while leaving it easy to grab and eat. Suits counter service and eating on the go.

  • Upright or angled holder

Holds a wrap cut in half standing up, so the filling faces the customer. Popular for presentation and photos.

  • Standard or custom size

A standard size works for most wraps. A custom size is worth it if your wraps are unusually long, thick or loaded.

See it. Test it. Approve it.Once you're happy with the quote, we send a sample to test with your own food before production.
How it works
Choosing

How to choose the right wrap box

  • 01

    How big are your wraps?

Length, thickness and whether you cut them in half all change the box size you need.

  • 02

Is it eaten here or delivered?

Delivery calls for a fully closed box. Eating on site or on the go can work with an open sleeve.

  • 03

    How saucy is the filling?

Wet, saucy fillings need better grease resistance and a box that won't go soft.

  • 04

Does anything else go in the box?

If fries or a side go in too, a meal deal box with compartments may suit you better.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Using a burger box for wraps

Wraps rolling around in a square box tend to unroll and leak. A box shaped for wraps keeps them neat.

  • Box too big for the wrap

Extra space lets the wrap move and lose its shape. A snug fit is better than a roomy one.

  • Ignoring the ends

Most leaks come from the ends of a wrap. Choose a structure that supports them, especially for delivery.

Wrap box FAQs

Can wrap boxes be printed with my logo?

Yes. We print your logo, colours and artwork on the box. If you don't have artwork yet, we can design it with you at no extra cost.

Can you make wrap boxes in a custom size?

Yes. Tell us the length and thickness of your wraps, or send us your current packaging, and we'll recommend the right size.

Are wrap boxes suitable for delivery?

Yes, an enclosed wrap box is designed to protect the wrap and keep heat in during delivery. We'll recommend a strength that suits your journey times.

Can I test a wrap box before ordering?

Yes. Once you're happy with the quote, we prepare a sample so you can test it with your own wraps before production.

What if I don't know which wrap box I need?

Tell us what you serve and how it's sold, and we'll recommend the right option. You don't need to know any technical details.

How long do custom printed wrap boxes take?

Production and delivery typically take 30 to 35 days from the moment you approve your sample and artwork. The quote and sample come before that, so the sooner you get in touch, the better. If you keep stock with us in UK storage, reorders don't have to wait for a new production run.
