Hygiene figures for every city, from the register
The Food Standards Agency publishes a rating for every food business. We turn it into a daily summary per city: how ratings are split, where businesses lose points and how many have just registered.

Questions about food hygiene ratings and Analyse
What is a food hygiene rating?
A food hygiene rating is a score from 0 to 5 given by the local council after it inspects a food business. 5 means very good and 0 means urgent improvement is necessary. The Food Standards Agency publishes every rating in a public register.
Is TradePack Analyse free?
Yes. It is free and needs no account. Each device can run two analyses a day, because every analysis uses live Google data.
Where does the data come from?
Hygiene ratings come from the Food Standards Agency register and city figures are worked out again every day. Google rating, reviews, photos and opening hours are fetched live from Google Maps for each analysis and are not stored.
How is the score out of 100 worked out?
Five parts, each scored on its own: search position on Google (25 points), Google rating (25), number of reviews (20), hygiene rating (20) and profile basics such as website, photos, opening hours and delivery (10). A part with no data is left out and the total is rescaled.
Does it show the names of nearby businesses?
Yes. Nearby businesses are the places Google Maps lists for the same search, shown by name with their public rating, reviews and hygiene rating, so you can see who the area's favourite is and where you stand.
